Was emotionally exhaustive Talaash: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan, who played a cop struggling to cope with the death of his young son in Talaash, says the movie was “emotionally exhaustive”.

“The role of Talaash was hard. Loss of son in the film was emotionally draining. Had to start thinking that something really traumatic shooting like that would set my mood,” said Aamir reporters today at an event.

Aamir said he had to delve into the “space loss” step into the shoes of the character on the screen.

Talaash: The Answer Lies Within was a thriller directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions starring Aamir, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in the lead.

Often being referred to as a “perfectionist” actor, Aamir said he disagreed with the label.

“I do not think I’m a perfectionist. I do not think there is such thing in the creative business. I do not consider myself a perfectionist,” said the actor, adding that gives the best when it comes to their characters.

“I leave no stone unturned to any of my films,” he added.

Aamir said he did not think much about being successful, but enjoys doing his job.

“I do not know why I have success so far. Do not think about it. I enjoy my work and give the best of me. Want to surprise and challenge myself. Audience I want something new all the time” he said.

Aamir, known for experimenting with her appearance, said he liked his get-up in films Mangal Pandey and Ghajini.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, who has worked in films across almost all genres like action thriller, drama, comedy, romance and suspense, I would like to make a science fiction film.

“If I find a good science fiction script, I’d love to. Never decide or plan what you want to do now. I can do it organically. If there is something interesting in the science fiction space is offered to me … (if ) I like. going to do, “said Aamir.

“I have Dhoom 3 in a row for release this Christmas. The film was shot primarily in Chicago as the film is set there. Had a great experience working on it,” said Aamir.

“Then I have Peekay that will be released next year. I have second season of Satyameva Jayate.’m Looking forward to it,” he said, adding that he wanted to contribute to society through this program.

“This show is something that was growing in my mind gradually. I wanted to use my profession. Sorry for the change must come from within and not force anyone to change,” he said.
